A Lincolnshire building firm

R Wakefield Building began in Lincolnshire more than ten years ago and became a limited company in 2022. Today we take on a wide range of work across the residential, leisure and commercial sectors, from house extensions and conversions to new builds and commercial projects.

Ryan Wakefield leads the business and is the person you speak to about your project. We bring in our own preferred partners where a job needs them, and we put a lot of weight on strong relationships with our clients, careful workmanship and close attention to the details.

House extensions and property extensions

Extensions are at the centre of what we do around Lincoln: single-storey and two-storey house extensions, kitchen extensions, garden rooms and link extensions. Our extension at The Granaries in Scopwick was Highly Commended for Best Residential Extension in the LABC East Midlands Building Excellence Awards 2026.

We are also comfortable with older buildings. On conservation work, our aim is to keep a building’s history and character while making it practical for modern use.
